Waddell Mariculture Center
The Waddell Mariculture Center (WMC) is a field experiment station of the S.C. Department of Natural Resources and is one of the country’s largest and most sophisticated facilities for mariculture research. Fellow Board members, Greg Lyles and John Mathews were on hand as SIFF President,David Reeves, presented a check to WMC Director, Erin Levesque.
South Carolina Oyster Reclamation and Enhancement (SCORE)
The South Carolina Oyster Recycling and Enhancement Program (SCORE) is a community-based habitat restoration and monitoring program of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Making the presentation to Kevin Swain, SCORE Program Director, is SIFF Treasurer, Susan Hilfer. Looking on are Board members Tom Stevens, David Reeves, President, and Jeff Mason, V.President.
Port Royal Sound Foundation
The Port Royal Sound Foundation’s mission is to preserve the Port Royal Sound for the environmental, cultural and economic well-being of our area. SIFF Treasurer, Susan Hilfer, presented the check to Jody Heyward, PRSF Executive Director and Cathy Caliendo, Director of Development. Also at the event were SIFF Board members Jeff Mason, V. President, Tom Onisko, Secretary, and David Reeves, President.
