Sea Island Fly Fishers

Sea Island Fly Fishers, the Beaufort area fly fishing club, was founded in 1996 with the purpose of promoting fly fishing through relevant educational programs and associated conservation efforts in the ACE Basin and Port Royal Sound areas. The club is composed of about one hundred and twenty men, women, and young adults. The membership is open to everyone interested in fly fishing, regardless of their experience level. SIFF encourages member participation offering monthly meetings (September through May), casting clinics, fly tying instruction, and social activities. The club also conducts fly-only-tournaments, club trips, and encourages members to volunteer in programs such as South Carolina’s Oyster Recycling and Enhancement Program (SCORE), the Osprey Monitoring Program, Casting For Recovery, and SC Adopt-a-Stream.
