Mentors should be willing to help in areas of fly fishing as abilities allow. Before taking someone fishing, for example, it might entail some lawn casting to discover their abilities. Being a mentor is not a full-time job, and it will be up to you how much time to devote. The mentor is not a guide, unless you desire to act as one.
