Fly Tying Workshop – August 14th

In collaboration with Shellring Ale Works, Bay Street Outfitters hosts Taps & Ties, Saltwater Fly Tying Night on the second Thursday of every month. Here, fly anglers from all over the Lowcountry gather where pint glasses clink beside piles of synthetic fibers, dumbbell eyes, and enough UV resin to coat a flats skiff. Tiers of all abilities are welcome! Materials and tying setups provided. Participation is free!
This month’s event, to be held on July 10th between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, will feature the group will be led in tying patterns relevant to our local fishery.
