Casting Clinic – March 19th

The Sea Island Fly Fishers is pleased to announce that registration is now open for this year’s Casting Clinic. The clinic will be a one day event on Saturday, March 19th, and will be held on the John Paul II Catholic School grounds, 4211 N. Okatie Hwy, Ridgeland, SC.  The clinic will begin at 8:30 AM and will conclude at 4:00 PM.   A barbecue lunch, artfully prepared by John Mathews, will be provided at mid-day.  Registration is required and a $40 contribution is requested to help defray the costs of the event.   The cut-off date for registration is March 16th.

Please bring your rod and reel for saltwater (7 wt-9wt), including a saltwater leader and arrive early enough to have your equipment ready by the 8:30 AM starting time.  There will be a limited amount of equipment available if necessary.

This clinic is open to all active members from beginner to expert.  The clinic will focus on practical fishing casts and techniques.
